Where can I rent bikes from you?
Our Bike Centre is located in the small village of Camlik about 15 km outside of Bodrum. We are here all year round though our opening hours vary depending on the season. However, we are generally available on weekdays from 9 am to 5 pm.
What is the best way to reserve and rent a bike?
If you would like to reserve a bike with us, the best and easiest way to do so is by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org. In the e-mail you should include the following details: From when to when you would like to rent a bike. Your height and the kind of bike you would like to rent (hybrid bike, e-bike, MTB, E-MTB). Where you would like to rent the bike. If you can come to pick it up or need a transport. And if so, where to? We are looking forward to your request!
Is it possible to have the bikes transported to a specific address?
You can of course request to have the bikes transported to a hotel or a specific address, for an extra fee. Generally, a transport in the region of Bodrum is no problem. However, all transports can only be realized if the drivers and vehicles are available. What this means for you is: the earlier you book your desired transport, the better! The transport prices vary depending on the distance. For a concrete offer please contact our Bike Centre directly.
What kind of pedals are used on the rental bikes?
All our bikes are rented with normal flat pedals. If you bring your own click pedals, our mechanics will be happy to help you fix them on the bike.
Do I have to wear a helmet?
We highly recommend wearing a helmet to protect your safety and health. We are happy to provide you with helmets free of charge. If you are travelling individually, it is up to you to choose if you do (not want to) wear a helmet. Wearing a helmet is mandatory for all our organised group tours.
Can we book a guide for our tour?
We are happy to provide you with a guide for your individual tour. However, this can only be done by arrangement and subject to availability. For spontaneous bike tours on the Bodrum Peninsula, it is best to check with the staff at our Bike Centre Bodrum if a guide is available on site. Do you have bike maps available that we can take with us?
Yes, at Bike Centre Bodrum you will find good maps that you are welcome to take for your tours around Bodrum. We also have a very experienced team that is happy to help you with advice and insider tips. Feel free to contact us when you rent the bikes!
Do you also provide a GPS?
We are happy to provide a GPS with or without pre-recorded routes, depending on availability and for an additional charge. Again, the earlier you contact us on this matter, the easier it is for us to organise everything you need.
Is the rental bike insured against theft?
If you are travelling with one of our guides, he or she is responsible for the safety of the bikes and in this case the bikes are insured. If you are travelling individually with the bikes, we cannot offer theft insurance at this time.
Can I book a transfer with you?
As with all the services we offer, it is important to make arrangements in advance. If our drivers and vehicles are available, we will gladly take you from A to B. The exact price will be determined by the staff at the Bike Centre once they have received all the necessary information and have checked availability. If we are unable to provide you with the service, we have many contacts in both regions who also have the appropriate vehicles for bicycle transport, through which you can book a transfer. What if I have a breakdown/problem along the way – Who can I contact?
When you rent the bikes, you will be given a contact number which you can call in case of problems or technical damages!
